What is an AFFILIATE PROGRAM?

An affiliate program is a program in which you contract with a merchant to sell or advertise their products in return for a set commission based on the sales or traffic you generate. Variations of the typical affiliate program could also pay based on user registrations or the amount of traffic that is generated.

How does this benefit Carmel United?

Carmel United benefits each time a web patron visits the Carmel United website, navigates to the AFFILIATE PROGRAM homepage, selects a category, and clicks through to an online vendor website  (CheapTickets.com is an example) to place an order.  In some cases, the very fact that you navigated to a site generates revenue for the club. Specifically, the travel site Kayak.com provides between 25-50 cents every time a travel search entry is conducted.
